TechPeaks wants to accelerate both people and companies

In Trento, Italy a new “people” accelerator is opening its doors for the first batch of teams and individuals interested in building new businesses: TechPeaks.

95% of the accelerators will fail in the next couple of years because they are not differentiated. At TechPeaks we wanted to create something different. So we created the people accelerator concept. This means that we accept both founding teams and talented individuals with an interest in startups together.”

“If you come with a business already, you focus on that business, but some people might love your product and would like to join you. Or you can come alone and after a month form a team with the others there and start building something new,” said Evan Nisselson, mentor at TechPeaks, 500startups and SeedCamp and an investor at LDV Capital.

Benefits offered:

  • 6 months free housing, free food, free office
  • 25K non-equity grant
  • 40 mentors from all over the world
  • connection to the local tech university and research center and its international network
  • access to a wide network of VCs and partnering accelerators
  • visa support

after the program, Techpeaks offers up to 200K Euro equity matching funds*

*If the founders raise 150K euro from an investor, Techpeaks can co-invest 150K euro, making it easier to raise larger sums.

Applications are open until April 5th.
