Crowdfunding done well: a video

Following up on yesterday’s post about the four P’s of crowdfunding, we were sent this little gem of a video on the European crowdfunding platform (and also startup) – a new approach to funding photo and video journalism, now that newspapers and newsrooms are less and less inclined to put up money for slow journalistic projects.

This pitch is from Elisabeth Blanchet, who wants to make a documentary about British post war prefabs – before they and the people who lived in them for decades are gone:

“I wouldn’t trade my prefab for Buckingham Palace, even if they included the Queen! I guess I shouldn’t really say that, should I?”
